About us

We are a non-profit organisation with international facilities, bringing together entities connected with the labour market, who offer the highest quality of provided services, assuring well-being of employment relationship parties and improvement of standards in the industry. The Association of Employers: The Nationwide Convent of Employment Agencies [Związek Pracodawców Ogólnopolski Konwent Agencji Pracy, OKAP] currently associates 60 member entities. We represent large, national and international entities as well as regional and local ones, which operate in several provinces or in smaller areas. Such a wide range of business profiles of our Members allows discerning the issues of the HR environment in a comprehensive manner. The Members of OKAP have over 150 offices, branches and representative offices across Poland and abroad.

We uphold the observance of law and assurance of the highest standards of provided services with a positive image of the industry in mind. Areas of our activity not only include support and representation of the Members of the Association and promotion of modern forms of employment, but also submission of applications and opinions on legal acts concerning the matters related to the operation of an employment agency to entities holding legislative initiative.

We act for the comprehensive development of entities operating as employment agencies, including initiatives for improvement of ethical and professional standards in the HR area. We organise cyclic seminars and training on a very wide variety of topics. A very important area of operation of our Association is establishment of cooperation with any entities on the Polish labour market as well as entities on the labour markets of the EU and EEA countries: labour market institutions, labour protection offices, trade unions, associations, organisations and entrepreneurs.

As an industry organisation of employers, we bring together employment agencies that specialise in provision of HR services:

  1. Employment services in Poland and abroad
  2. Recruitment, personal consulting and delegations
  3. Temporary employment, outsourcing and employment of foreigners in Poland

An employment agency entered in the register of employment agencies, kept by the Marshall of Province competent for the registered office of the entity, can become a member of OKAP as well as any other entity whose business activity involves providing services for domestic or international labour market.
